The Jaltest JDC520A is the cable that the brand-specific 16-pin diagnostic connector from Valtra-tractors converted to the standard 16-pin OBD2-connection. On the vehicle side, there's a 16-pin connector that plugs into the cab and has a different pin configuration than a standard OBD2 plug; on the interface side, there's a 16-pin OBD2 port for your Jaltest diagnostic cable. This connector is designed for the CAN-controlled generation with common-rail engines.
Once the connection is established, the Jaltest software accesses the engine control unit of the tractor. Jaltest performs two common-rail engine diagnostics here: The EEM3 - EDC 7 UC31 and the newer EEM4 - EDC 17 CV54, with additional actions also available on the EEM4. With both systems, maintenance intervals can be retrieved. Agricultural vehicles have never been required to use a standardized diagnostic connector, which is why this 16-pin plug remains in use alongside the older 8-pin version. The cable falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

- View live data: Monitor current sensor values controlled by the control unit, with the ability to set alarm thresholds.
- Check service intervals: Review scheduled maintenance and required work, with a report for workshop records.
- Perform additional functions: Extra procedures available in Jaltest for this control unit. On Valtra, available on the EEM4 - EDC 17 CV54.
