The Jaltest (MDC100.9) is an Adapter Cable designed to establish a connection between an older generation Jaltest Electronic Test Module (ETM) and the newer Jaltest Link v9 interface. The cable features a 26-pin Sub-D (DB26) female connector on one side and a 37-pin Sub-D (DB37) female connector on the other side, enabling correct data transfer between the two devices.

This Adapter Cable ensures compatibility between different generations of Jaltest hardware. It allows users to continue using their existing ETM module, which is used for testing components such as EBS modulators and sensors, after an upgrade to the Jaltest Link v9 VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface). The cable functions as a direct physical interface to guarantee the continuity of diagnostic work.
