The Jaltest JDC516A is the adapter cable that converts the proprietary 4-pin diagnostic connector found on Landini tractors to the standard 16-pin OBD2 interface. On the vehicle side, the 4-pin connector plugs into the diagnostic port in the cab, while the interface side features the 16-pin OBD2 inlet for your Jaltest diagnostic cable.
Through this adapter, your diagnostic equipment connects to the vehicle network and accesses the ECM 1100C (Tier 2 / Stage II) electronic diesel control, the engine management system fitted across all these model ranges. On the Powerfarm series, you'll also reach the transmission control unit TRANS (Sauer Danfoss) and the instrument cluster, while Jaltest on the Legend series provides engine management access only. Since agricultural vehicles aren't subject to mandatory OBD regulations, Landini retained this proprietary connector across many production years. This cable falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Applications and features
Through this 4-pin connection, you access the tractor's control units using Jaltest software. Which units are available varies by series.
Control units you can access
- Engine management ECM 1100C (Tier 2 / Stage II), electronic diesel control: The electronic diesel control system of the Tier 2 generation, present on all listed series. Read fault codes and live data, and retrieve ECU information.
- Transmission TRANS (Sauer Danfoss): The transmission control unit of the Powerfarm series.
- Instrument cluster Dashboard: The dashboard of the Powerfarm series.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit, including descriptions of detected faults.
- View live data: Monitor real-time sensor values controlled by the control unit, with the ability to set alarm thresholds.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type determines compatibility, not the model. This cable fits any Landini tractor equipped with the manufacturer's 4-pin diagnostic connector. The series listed below are covered by Jaltest AGV; check which connector is installed in your cab on-site.
