The Jaltest JDC559A is the adapter between the dual 6+6-pin diagnostic connector of Haulotte boom lifts and telehandlers and the standard 16-pin OBD2-interface of the Jaltest Link. These machines feature two connectors positioned side by side at the lower control panel; on the machine side, the cable has both 6-pin connectors, while on the interface side they merge into the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable.
This cable routes the communication lines from both connectors through to the Jaltest Link, enabling direct communication with the control units without the need to swap connections. This gives your diagnostic equipment access to the hydraulic control system HYDRAULICS in both CAN- and legacy RS232-versions, to the engine control unit ECM Kohler including the Stage V-version, and on the HA series to the common-rail engine control E-CDIS of Kubota engines. On HTL telehandlers, only the Kohler engine control is covered. The cable falls under Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

Through this dual connection, you access the machine's control units with Jaltest software. Which systems are available varies by series and engine type.
Control units you can access
- HYDRAULICS (CAN), Hydraulic System: The machine's hydraulic control on the CAN bus.
- HYDRAULICS (RS232), Hydraulic System: The same function on older machines with serial connection.
- ECM Kohler, Electronic Diesel Control, Common Rail: Kohler diesel engine control.
- ECM Kohler (Stage V), Electronic Diesel Control, Common Rail: The Stage V version of that same engine control.
- E-CDIS, Electronic Diesel Control, Common Rail: Common-rail engine control of Kubota engines on the HA series.

- Read and clear fault codes: Read the control unit's fault memory, including a detailed description of any detected faults.
- View measurement values: The current sensor readings connected to the control unit, displayed as both numerical values and graphs.
- Track maintenance: Maintenance intervals and completed service work, with a service report.
- Perform additional actions: Extra diagnostic procedures that Jaltest offers per control unit, where available for your system.

The connector type is what matters, not the machine model. This cable works with any Haulotte machine equipped with the dual 6+6-pin diagnostic connector. Jaltest MHE covers the series listed below; check on-site which connector your machine has.
