The Jaltest JDCOBD2 is the adapter that converts the non-standard 16-pin diagnostic connector found on Hyundai vehicles to the universal 16-pin OBD2 standard. You connect it between your vehicle's diagnostic port and the OBD2 cable from the Jaltest Link; it works alongside the cable rather than replacing it. Without this adapter, the diagnostic interface cannot establish a connection because the signals are not on the expected pins.
Once the adapter is in place, communication with your vehicle's control modules is restored, as all signals required for complete diagnostics are preserved. From there, Jaltest software unlocks your vehicle's full diagnostic capabilities: read and clear fault codes, monitor live data, control actuators, and — depending on your vehicle system and coverage — perform maintenance and calibration procedures. Which models and model years are supported depends on your active license and installed software version. The adapter is used within Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).
