The Jaltest JDC519A is the adapter between the 4+4-pin diagnostic connector of Claas and Renault tractors and the standard 16-pin OBD2 interface of the Jaltest Link. On the vehicle side, the dual 4-pin connector plugs into the diagnostic port in the cab, while the interface side features the 16-pin OBD2 inlet for your Jaltest diagnostic cable. This connector is found on tractors from the Renault Agriculture line that were later continued under the Claas brand.
This cable routes the tractor's communication lines to the Jaltest Link, enabling direct communication with the onboard control units. This gives your diagnostic equipment access to the DE-10 engine control unit with radial piston injection pump, transmission controls including QUADRISHIFT/TWINSHIFT, REVERSHIFT-B41, EHM 24 and TRAX, the ELECTROPILOT valve control, TCE lift systems and the DBD2 instrument cluster; on these tractors, service intervals are managed exclusively through the DBD2. Since agricultural vehicles have never had a standardized diagnostic connector requirement, this connector remains in use on more recent tractors as well. The cable falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Using this 4+4-pin connection, you can access the tractor's control units with Jaltest software. Which units are available varies by series and model.
Control units you can access
- Engine management DE-10 (Level 12 - Tier 2/Stage II), radial piston injection pump: The engine control of the ARES and CELTIS series, with fault codes, measured values and ECU data.
- Transmission QUADRISHIFT / TWINSHIFT: The gearbox control of the ARES series.
- Transmission REVERSHIFT-B41 (Autotronic 5) and REVERSHIFT-B41 (Drivetronic 3B): The gearbox controls of the CELTIS.
- Transmission EHM 24, TRAX and TRAX (CAN): The gearbox controls of the NECTIS series.
- Hydraulics ELECTROPILOT: The control panel for external hydraulic valves.
- Hydraulics TCE 15/25/35, TCE15T and TCE 6: The electronic lifting systems.
- Instrument panel DBD2: The dashboard, with access to service intervals.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory of the control unit, including descriptions of detected faults.
- View measured values: The current sensor readings monitored by the control unit, with the ability to set alarm thresholds.
- Check service intervals: The service appointments and work to be performed, with a report for workshop records. Available on this series via the DBD2 instrument panel.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type determines compatibility, not the model. This cable fits any tractor from the Renault Agriculture line and later Claas models with the 4+4-pin diagnostic connector. Jaltest AGV covers the series listed below; check which connector is in your cab on site.
