The Jaltest JDC539A is the adapter cable connecting the dual 6+6-pin diagnostic connectors on compact Bobcat machines to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. Bobcat installs two connectors side-by-side on these machines: one for machine diagnostics and one for engine diagnostics. That's why this cable has two 6-pin connectors on the vehicle side, which converge into a single 16-pin OBD2 input; the exact location of both connectors varies by model.
This cable routes the communication lines through to the Jaltest Link, enabling direct communication with the control units. This allows the diagnostic equipment to access in a single session the machine computer GATEWAY, the electronic modules ACS and SJC, the drivetrain DRIVE, the hydraulic control AUX, the engine controls DL02, DM02 and E-CDIS Kubota, the aftertreatment control DCU, and the instrument cluster LHP. The coverage difference lies with that instrument cluster: Jaltest reads only measured values and ECU data there, not fault codes. Since compact machines have never had a standardized diagnostic connector requirement, this setup remains in use on newer Bobcats as well. The cable falls under Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway machines).
