The Jaltest 70001007 is the ETM interface for the Jaltest Link V9: It connects the Jaltest ETM, the component test module, to your Link V9. The interface is included in the ETM kit and is also available separately. If you have an earlier ETM version, you can connect it to the Link V9 using the adapter cable MDC100.9.
The ETM works only with a Jaltest Link and with Jaltest software: It runs exclusively with an ETM license and as long as your Jaltest software license is active. The ETM can only be combined with a CV license or Modular license and is not available for Jaltest handhelds. Hardware, software and usage rights for the ETM expire with the expiration date of your Jaltest software license; the annual ETM renewal is reference 29701.

What the ETM does
- Test components: The ETM is the diagnostic module for components within Jaltest.
- EBS modulators: The cables MDC02 through MDC09 from the ETM kit are designed for EBS modulators from Knorr-Bremse and Wabco.
- Speed sensors: For these, MDC12 is available separately, and MDC13 comes in the Multipin kit (JTP98).
- Brake pad wear sensors: For these, MDC10 and MDC11 are available separately, and MDC14 comes in the Multipin kit (JTP98).
- Connection to Jaltest Link: Via the ETM interface for V9 (70001007), or via the MDC100.9 adapter cable for an earlier ETM version.
How this product relates to other ETM components
The ETM interface for V9 is one of the components in the Jaltest ETM system. Below is how the complete setup is structured.
- ETM kit: It includes the ETM interface for V9 (70001007) plus cables MDC02, MDC03, MDC04, MDC05, MDC06, MDC07, MDC08 and MDC09, designed for EBS modulators from Knorr-Bremse and Wabco.
- Available separately: MDC10 and MDC11 for wear sensors, and MDC12 for speed sensors.
- MDC100.9: The adapter cable that connects an earlier ETM version to the Jaltest Link V9.
- Multipin kit (JTP98): Developed to test a wider range of speed sensors and brake pad wear sensors. In addition to the individual multipins, this kit includes two auxiliary cables: MDC13 for speed sensors and MDC14 for wear sensors.
