The Autool CT60 is a signal generator for fuel injectors. It drives removed injectors in the same way the engine does, so you can see on the workbench whether an injector opens, closes and produces a good spray pattern. You connect two injectors at the same time and compare a suspect injector directly with a good one.

It has a 12 V standard mode for ordinary electromagnetic petrol injectors and a 75 V mode for suitable high-voltage injectors. On the LCD screen you set a simulated speed of 600 to 4000 rpm and an operating time of 0 to 99 minutes. The CT60 does not measure output itself; for cleaning, you use it together with a separate ultrasonic cleaner, which then makes the injector open and close in the bath.

Good to know: Test an injector before and after cleaning at the same speed and for the same time. This way you can see from the spray pattern whether the cleaning had an effect: a good injector produces a fine, even mist.
