The GoDiag Full Protocol OBD2 Jumper Cable is a universal connection cable, designed for connecting diagnostic equipment and ECU programmers with loose vehicle modules. The cable features a standard OBD2 female port on one side and a set of colored wires with various connectors on the other side for direct connection to ECU pins. The system includes a DC power input for external power supply to the module.

This jumper cable is equipped with a power on/off switch and a separate switch for activating an integrated 120 Ohm CAN-bus resistor. This allows testing, diagnosing, and programming modules on the workbench without them being installed in the vehicle. The included resistors can be used for specific procedures, such as activating the boot mode on certain ECUs.

Application and functionality:

The jumper cable is developed for technicians working with ECUs and other vehicle modules outside the car.

  • ECU connection on the workbench: Enables a direct connection between ECU programming tools (such as Kess, Ktag, KT-BENCH) and an ECU on the workbench.
  • Power supply: Provides the option to connect an external 12V power source to activate the ECU.
  • CAN-bus termination: The built-in switchable 120 Ohm resistor ensures stable CAN-bus communication when the module is not connected to the full vehicle network.
  • Universal protocol support: Due to the direct pin-out structure, the cable is compatible with various communication protocols, including CAN and K-Line.
  • Boot mode activation: The included separate resistors can be used to connect specific pins, which is necessary for some programming or repair procedures.
