The GoDiag JLR 2-in-1 adapter cable is a communication cable designed to connect diagnostic equipment and key programming tools with KVM (Keyless Vehicle Module) or RFA (Remote Function Actuator) modules of Jaguar and Land Rover. The cable features two separate connectors, making it compatible with modules from both pre-2017 and post-2017 models. The cable allows a connection on the test bench, outside the vehicle, via a standard OBD-II connector and an external DC power input.
Using this adapter cable eliminates the need to solder wires to the MCU of the KVM or RFA module when reading or writing data. This ensures a stable and secure data connection for tasks such as key programming, especially in situations where all keys are lost (All Keys Lost). The cable is used in combination with specific programming tools compatible with Jaguar and Land Rover systems.
Application and functionality:
The cable is developed for technicians working with the anti-theft system of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles and offers the following functions:
- Key programming on the test bench: Enables reading key data from the KVM/RFA module and writing new keys without the module being installed in the vehicle.
