Foxwell BT715 Plus | Battery Tester
The Foxwell BT715 Plus is a Battery tester designed for analyzing 12V Battery's and 6V, 12V and 24V starting and charging systems. The tester is suitable for various Battery types, including regular flooded Battery's, AGM Flat Plate, AGM Spiral, and Gel Battery's. The device is powered by the Battery being tested and has an operating voltage of 8-30V DC. The results and menus are displayed on a 320 x 240 pixels large, backlit LCD screen.
This Battery tester performs comprehensive analyses to check the condition of the Battery and the operation of the starting and charging system. Functions include measuring the actual cold cranking amps (CCA), the starting voltage and time, and the charging voltage under various conditions. The tester can also evaluate the operation of the alternator, rectifier diode, and charging current. Test results can be saved on the device and reviewed later.
Application and functionality:
This Battery tester is developed for analyzing the status of the Battery, the starting and charging system.
- Battery test: Analyzes the condition of the Battery and calculates the actual cold cranking amps (CCA) and aging status.
- Cranking test (Cranking test): Tests and analyzes the starting system, including the required starting voltage and start time.
- Charging test (Charging test): Analyzes the operation of the charging system, including charging voltage (no load and load) and ripple voltage.
- System test: Evaluates the operation of components such as the alternator, rectifier diode, and charging current.
- Voltage display: Shows the real-time voltage of the Battery.
- View results: Provides the ability to view and analyze previously saved test results.

- AGM Flat Plate: Absorbed Glass Mat Battery's with flat plates.
- AGM Spiral: Absorbed Glass Mat Battery's with spiral-shaped cells for higher current output.
- Gel: Batteries where the electrolyte is bound in a gel.
