This DTC remover for DAF XF/XG Euro 6.2 from CAN-BUS EMULATOR clears stored fault codes from the control units of a DAF XF, XG or XG+ from model year 2023. You plug it into the diagnostic port, and within a short time it sends a clearing command to the engine control unit, the braking system, the vehicle computer and the AdBlue aftertreatment, among others. No laptop, software or licence is required.
It is designed to quickly clear the fault memory after a repair or fault, for example on the road or at a location where no diagnostic tool is available. It only clears stored (non-active) fault codes. As long as the cause remains, an active fault will return. The module does not detect any fault and does not alter the software of the control units; a diagnostic tool is still required to find the cause.

Applications and functionality
The DTC remover is designed for workshops, mobile mechanics and fleet managers with DAF XF, XG and XG+ trucks who want to quickly clear the fault memory after a repair or temporary fault.
What it does
- Clearing fault codes: Clears stored fault codes in the supported control units.
- After repair: Clears old warnings once the cause has been rectified.
- Repeat: If a warning returns, repeat the procedure or trace the cause with a diagnostic tool.
What it does not do
- No reading: Does not display fault codes, live data or reports.
- No adjustments: Does not change software or settings in the control units.
- No active faults: A fault that is still present will be reported again by the control unit.
How to use it
- Ignition on: Switch the ignition on, but do not start the engine.
- Plug in: Insert the module into the diagnostic port and wait 30 seconds.
- Ignition off: Switch the ignition off and remove the module.
- Wait: Wait 30 seconds and start the engine.
- Check: If a warning remains, repeat the steps or trace the cause with a diagnostic tool.
