The Launch X-431 Pro3 Apex is an advanced and versatile OE-level diagnostic platform, designed for professional workshops that require speed, reliability, and extensive functionality. As the successor to the popular X-431 V4.0 series, the Apex is equipped with a more powerful processor, faster software, and a bright 10.1-inch Full HD touchscreen tablet running on Android 10. The Pro3 Apex combines complete system diagnosis, advanced online coding, and more than 40 maintenance functions in one robust and modular platform.

Wireless communication is via the compact and powerful DBScar VII VCI, which supports modern communication protocols such as CAN-FD and DoIP. This makes the system fully compatible with the latest vehicle platforms, including electric vehicles and vehicles with complex network architecture. The Pro3 Apex comes standard with two years of free software updates, including access to online features and coverage of more than 110 vehicle brands worldwide. After this period, the device continues to function fully on the last installed software version. For further updates, an annual license is required.

• Complete system diagnosis (OE-Level): Provides in-depth access to all electronic modules, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag (SRS), body control module (BCM), air conditioning, steering, instrument panel and more. Supports reading and clearing fault codes with detailed technical descriptions.
• Intelligent topology mapping: Visualizes the complete communication network of the vehicle in an interactive topology view, with color coding of active, faulty, or offline modules. This speeds up the detection of network faults, especially in modern CAN bus structures.
• Active tests (bidirectional control): Sends commands to actuators, relays, and components to test their operation without physical disassembly. Examples include activating the fuel pump, air conditioning clutch, brake system, or window control.

• Oil service reset (Service): Resets the maintenance interval and turns off the service light after oil change.
• Electronic Parking Brake (EPB): Releases, applies, and initializes the electronic handbrake for safe brake maintenance.
• Battery Management System (BMS): Registers a new Battery and optimizes the vehicle's charging strategy.
• Steering Angle Sensor (SAS): Calibrates the steering angle sensor after alignment or replacement of steering components.

• Includes 2 years of updates: A 24-month update license is included with purchase.

After the first year, the license can be renewed for an annual fee. The device remains fully functional for already supported models, even without license renewal. However, new software updates can no longer be installed, and some online features may be limited or no longer supported.
