The Jaltest 50007006 is the coolant pressure test kit. With the hand pump brings you the cold circuit via the filler cap or expansion tank under pressure, and on the pressure gauge read off or if the pressure remains. If the needle drops, then there is a leak somewhere coolant from the system: at a hose, a gasket, the radiator or a cooling jacket.
In the case you'll find the pump with pressure hose and quick coupling and seven adapters: six aluminium screw adapters in increasing diameter and one contrasting black adapter. These are designed for the commercial vehicle product line ofDAF, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Scania and Volvo, plus agricultural machinery from New Holland. The case weighs 3,000 gram and measure 470 x 400 x 115 mm.

Applications and features
A pressure loss in the cooling system is often invisible with the engine off: the leak is too small, or it sits behind a heat shield. By pressurising the circuit when cold to overpressure you force the leak to reveal itself, while the pressure gauge indicates whether the system remains sealed or not. Below you'll find what's included in the case and how to use the set.
What's in the case
- Hand-operated pressure pump: Pump with pressure gauge and pressure hose, fitted with quick coupling.
- Six aluminium adapters: Threaded adapters in increasing diameter, each with a nipple for the hose.
- Black adapter: Different design with plastic housing, also fitted with nipple.
- Storage case: Foam insert with a dedicated space for each component, 470 x 400 x 115 mm.
How to use it
- Pressurising the circuit: Fit the adapter to the filler neck, attach the hose and build up test pressure using the hand pump.
- Monitoring the pressure: If the needle holds steady, the system is sealed; if it drops, there's a leak.
- Locating the leak: With the circuit under pressure, the wet spot becomes visible at the hose, gasket or radiator.
- Assessing the filler cap: A cap that no longer seals will allow pressure to escape just as readily as a crack.

The filler neck is what matters, not the model. The adapter must fit the filler opening or the expansion tank ; the badge on the grille tells you little about this. The following brands are listed as applications for this reference.
