The Jaltest 50007006 is an 8-piece coolant pressure testing kit, designed to perform a pressure test on the cooling system of commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery. The kit includes a hand pump with an integrated pressure gauge and seven different adapters, allowing the cooling circuit to be pressurized to check for tightness and locate leaks.
The pressure gauge has a clearly readable measurement range up to 2.5 bar (35 psi), enabling accurate measurement of system pressure. Thanks to the specific adapters, an airtight connection can be made to the radiator or expansion tank of various vehicle brands. The complete set is supplied in a plastic storage case for protection and transport.
Application and functionality:
This kit is used to pressurize the cooling circuit of a vehicle. This allows potential leaks in components such as the radiator, hoses, water pump, or cylinder head gasket to be detected.
- Pressure build-up: The hand pump manually brings the cooling system to the desired test pressure.
- Leak indication: The integrated pressure gauge shows the system pressure. A dropping pressure indicates a leak in the circuit.
- Adapter connection: The specific adapters ensure a sealed connection to the expansion tank or radiator of compatible vehicles.
