Ancel PB500 | Circuit Tester
The Ancel PB500 is a circuit tester suitable for diagnosing 12V and 24V electrical systems in vehicles. The instrument operates within a voltage range of 9V to 30V DC and can perform measurements of voltage, resistance, and current. All measured values are displayed on a 2.4 inch TFT color screen.
This circuit tester has additional functionalities, including component activation by applying a positive or negative voltage. An integrated oscilloscope mode allows graphical display of sensor signals. Furthermore, the PB500 is equipped with specific test modes for relays and injectors. The system is protected against overload by an automatic 10A circuit breaker and has built-in LED lighting for better visibility in dark workspaces.
Application and functionality:
The circuit tester offers various functions for diagnosing electrical systems in vehicles.
- Voltage and ground test: Measures DC voltage and identifies positive, negative, and open circuits.
- Component activation: Activates electrical components such as cooling fans, relays, and lamps by directly supplying current.
- Continuity test: Checks for breaks and short circuits in wiring and components, supported by an acoustic signal.
- Signal circuit test: Visualizes signals from sensors, such as camshaft or crankshaft sensors, via the oscilloscope mode.
- Relay test: Checks the correct operation of relays by testing the contacts and coil.
