Mercedes (W221) EIS/ELV – 16-pins OBD2 Adapter Cable | Passenger Car
The Adapter Cable is designed to connect a Mercedes-Benz EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch) and ELV (Electronic Steering Lock) module to a compatible diagnostic device. The cable features specific connectors that fit directly onto the EIS and ELV modules and converts these to a standard 16-pin OBD2 connection. This makes it possible to test and program the modules outside the vehicle, for example on a workbench.
This setup is mainly used for bench diagnosis, programming keys, or reading and writing data.
