The CarLabImmo Fiat Replacement Key is an OBDII diagnostic tool designed to read and store the key code from an existing, working car key. The device is specifically engineered for Fiat vehicles equipped with a Delphi (Code 1) immobilizer system and a key featuring a Megamos ID48 transponder. The tool connects directly to your vehicle's OBDII port and requires one functioning key to extract the necessary data.
Once the key code is read and stored internally, the tool functions as a key emulator. This allows you to start the vehicle using a mechanically duplicated key without a transponder, as long as the tool remains connected to the OBDII port. The entire process is completely plug-and-play and requires no modifications to vehicle electronics or immobilizer memory.
