The Citroën Jumper Euro 6 DTC remover is a plug-and-play diagnostic interface designed for professional mechanics and diagnostic technicians. This module is used to quickly and efficiently clear stored and current fault codes (DTCs) from the engine management and related vehicle systems via the OBD2 port of the Delivery van. The device is specifically developed for fault diagnosis and emergency situations where the vehicle has switched to limp mode due to emission or drivetrain-related faults.
Once the module is connected, it immediately initiates communication with the central onboard computer and the individual ECUs via the CAN bus network. The system sends a reset command to critical modules, including the engine management system, transmission, and the AdBlue/SCR controller, to clear the fault code memories. This cleans up historical fault codes and can temporarily lift a power limitation imposed by the ECU, allowing the vehicle to be driven under control to a workshop. However, permanent hardware faults require a physical repair before the onboard computer permanently clears the fault code during a new driving cycle.
