The DTC remover is a plug-and-play device, specifically developed for BMC trucks that comply with the Euro 6 emission standard. The module connects to the vehicle's OBD diagnostic port to read and clear fault codes. It is designed to communicate directly with the truck's electronic systems.
This device operates without the need for a computer or additional software. It is aimed at clearing both active and inactive fault codes from the engine control unit and the AdBlue system. By clearing these codes, warning lights on the dashboard are deactivated and any limp mode can be lifted, allowing the truck to regain its full engine power and speed.
Application and functionality:
This device is developed for clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in the vehicle system. Operation requires no technical configuration.
- Clear fault codes: Reads and removes fault codes from supported control units. This results in deactivating warning lights on the dashboard, such as the engine malfunction light.
- Lift limp mode: By clearing critical faults, especially related to the emission system, power and speed restrictions (limp mode) can be lifted.
- Plug-and-play: The module connects directly to the OBD port and follows a simple procedure of turning the ignition on and off to complete the clearing process.
