The Autool SVB208 is an articulating inspection camera with a 6.25 mm lens diameter and a 4.3-inch IPS screen, designed for visual inspections in engine compartments, cylinders, pipes, and other hard-to-reach spaces. The camera features a two-way 210° steerable lens allowing precise positioning of the probe in corners and blind spots without realigning the entire hose. Images are captured via a 1 MP camera with 1920x1080 resolution and can be zoomed in with 8x digital zoom. The 1 meter long flexible hose made of tungsten wire braided mesh combines strength with a minimum bending radius of 32 mm, allowing the probe to pass through curved pipes.

During inspections, six ceramic LEDs with three adjustable brightness levels illuminate the work area, even in completely dark spaces like combustion chambers or exhaust ducts. The lens has a depth of field of 15-100 mm and a 90° viewing angle, suitable for short to medium distance inspections. The probe is IP67 waterproof and resistant to oil, moisture, and contaminated environments. An overheating protection automatically shuts off the lens once the temperature exceeds 85 °C. Recordings are saved on the included 32 GB microSD card, with capacity for over 80,000 JPG photos or 40+ AVI videos. The built-in 2000 mAh battery provides up to 180 minutes of continuous use per charge via USB-C.

KEY POINTS

💡

Good to know: Always straighten the articulating cable after use before placing it in the case. Storing it bent for a long time can permanently deform the wolfram wire braided sheath and the control cables inside the cable, which affects articulation accuracy.
