The Autool DM400 is a digital multimeter designed for measuring various electrical quantities. This instrument uses True RMS technology for accurate measurements of both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal AC waveforms. The multimeter features a 6000-count LCD display with backlighting for clear reading in different lighting conditions. Functions include measuring AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, and temperature.
In addition to the basic measurements, the DM400 offers extra functionalities such as automatic and manual range selection, a diode test, and a continuity test with an acoustic signal. The meter is equipped with functions for Data Hold and Max/Min registration to hold measured values or record peak values. A K-type thermocouple is included for temperature measurements. The multimeter has an automatic shut-off function to extend battery life and a low battery indication.
