The Autool BT30 is a memory saver used to maintain a vehicle's electronic settings during battery replacement. The cable connects the vehicle's OBD port to an external 12V power source via the integrated battery clamps. This ensures that power supply to the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and other modules is not interrupted, preventing data loss.
This tool features a thickened copper core for stable current conduction. Safety is supported by fully insulated clamps and a built-in fuse that offers protection against overcurrent. The BT30 is designed to preserve settings such as dashboard information, the digital clock, audio settings, seat memory, and the configuration of systems like ABS and the anti-slip system.
Application and functionality:
The Autool BT30 is used to provide continuous power to the vehicle when the primary battery is disconnected. This prevents stored data and configurations from being reset.
- Power supply via OBD port: Provides power directly to the vehicle's electrical system through the universal 16-pin OBD connector.
