The Autel XP400 Pro is an all-in-one key programmer designed for reading, writing, and programming transponders, key chips, EEPROM and MCU memories, and immobilizer components. The device connects to a compatible Autel diagnostic platform and functions as an external programming interface for work performed outside the vehicle on the workbench. The housing includes a transponder reader, a DIP socket for IC chips, and multiple connectors for EEPROM, MCU, and ECU operations via included adapters and cables.
During use, the XP400 Pro communicates via a USB connection with the host device, after which operation is fully controlled via the tablet or PC. For chip-level operations, the IC is placed in the DIP socket or connected via one of the included EEPROM adapter boards. For ECU and BCM operations, the APB cables and solder wires are used to make a direct connection to the control module. The integrated transponder reader detects and programs key chips without disassembly, and data is exchanged in real time with the diagnostic software on the host device.

- BMW and Mercedes IMMO support: Processes FBS3 and CAS modules for key replacement on specific premium brands.
