The Autel MaxiSys Elite update license offers a software extension of one year for your diagnostic device. This license is specifically designed for users of the MaxiSys Elite and ensures that the device has the most recent vehicle coverage, new diagnostic functions, and system updates. This keeps the device’s functionality optimal and compatible with the latest vehicle models.
With this software extension, you gain access to all software updates released during the twelve-month license period. After the update license expires, the diagnostic device will continue to operate with the last installed software version. However, it will no longer be possible to install new updates. Access to online functions that require an active license may also be lost.

How does it work in practice?
Activating your software extension is a simple and automated process. Follow the steps below to update your device.
- Order the license: Add the update license to your shopping cart and complete the purchase.
- Enter the serial number: During checkout, enter the serial number of your Autel MaxiSys Elite in the designated remarks field.
- Automatic processing: After receiving your order, the license will be automatically linked to your device within 24 hours.
- Install updates: Connect your diagnostic device to a stable wifi network. Navigate to the "Update" menu on the device to download and install the available software updates.
Serial number information
For correct and swift processing of your software update, it is essential that you provide the correct serial number of your device. Without this number, the license cannot be activated.
The serial number (12 characters) can be found in one of the following locations. Check this number carefully and enter it in the remarks field during the ordering process.
- Device: The number is printed on the back of the MaxiSys Elite tablet.
- Settings menu: You can find the serial number in the device menu under "Settings" and then "About".
- Packaging box: The serial number is also printed on a sticker on the outside of the original product box.
