The Autel MaxiPro MP900 update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MP900 for one year. What the MP900 can do is determined by its software, not its hardware. The device is a wired diagnostic tablet that the manufacturer positions as the successor to the MP808S and DS808. It codes modules and works with guided functions, and includes a menu of service and maintenance tasks that expands with each software release. A licence renewal gives you a year's access to all new versions released during that period.
The licence is tied to the serial number of your MP900, not to an account or code; we establish that link for you, typically within one working day. Updates cover vehicle coverage, that menu of service functions and the coding files, plus support for DoIP and CAN FD. When the term expires, nothing already on the device changes, but new software will no longer be added.

Three things on the MP900 depend on the licence. The vehicle coverage determines which vehicles the device recognises, the function files determine what it can do with them, and the online services provide what comes from outside.
What a renewal gives you
