The Autel MaxiPro MP900-BT update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MP900-BT with one year. The device displays live data in text, graph and analogue format, reads pre- and post-scan reports and codes modules, all based on files that are expanded with each update. The MP900-BT is the wireless version of the MP900, using the MaxiVCI V150 as the vehicle interface, and for this type of work what matters most is whether the device recognises today's vehicles. An active licence is what makes that difference.

A licence renewal keeps the vehicle coverage, the menu of service functions and the coding files current. To get that underway we only need the serial number of your MP900-BT; we link the licence to it and that is usually within one working day sorted. After that the MP900-BT continues to run on the most recently installed version.

✕Vehicle connection plays no role in updates; everything occurs via wifi and the charger.

What a renewal provides

  • New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
  • Expanded service functions: Procedures such as oil service, electronic parking brake, steering angle sensor, battery management and DPF regeneration continue to connect with newer vehicles as manufacturers modify their systems.
  • Coding files: The coding and adaptation procedures follow the modules released by manufacturers.

What happens without renewal

  • No updates: New coverage and new procedures no longer reach the device.
  • Online functions: Anything the software does not have built-in may stop working afterwards.
  • Unchanged: Diagnosis on vehicles the device already recognises remains unaffected by licence expiry.

How does it work in practice?

Below four steps describe the entire process. Make sure the MP900-BT remains connected to wifi during the download and stays on the charger while the download runs. charger hangs.

  3. Connect the device: Switch on the MP900-BT, connect it to wifi and leave it on the charger while the download is in progress.
