The Autel MaxiIM IM508S update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the IM508S with one year. The device reads PIN codes, creates and programmes keys, replaces immobiliser components and reads more than three thousand chip types, with those procedures expanded regularly by manufacturer and model year. The IM508S is a key and immobiliser device with full diagnostics included, and for this type of work what matters most is whether the device recognises today's vehicles. An active licence is what makes that difference.

An extension primarily updates the key and immobiliser files alongside the standard vehicle coverage and maintenance functions. To set this in motion, we only need the serial number of your IM508S; we link the licence to it and that is usually within one working day completed. After that, the IM508S continues to run on the most recently installed version.
