Activating your software extension is a simple process. Follow the steps below to renew your license.
- Order the license: Add the update license to your shopping cart and complete the order.
- Enter serial number: Enter the 12-digit serial number of your Autel device in the remarks field during checkout.
- Automatic processing: The update will be automatically processed within 24 hours after ordering and linked to your device.
- Install the updates: Connect your key programmer to a stable wifi network. Navigate to the ‘Update’ menu on the device to download and install the available software updates.
Serial number information
For successful activation, the correct serial number of your device is required. This number consists of 12 characters. Make sure to enter this number in the remarks field of your order. You can find the serial number in the following locations:
- Device: On the sticker on the back of the Autel MaxiIM IM508.
- Settings menu: In the system menu under the option ‘About’.
- Packaging box: On the original box of the product.
