The Autel MaxiDas DS900BT update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the DS900BT with one year. The DS900BT is the wireless DS900 featuring the MaxiVCI V150 and battery analysis. The device codes modules online and offline, activates hidden functions and adjusts OE settings, and supports DoIP and CAN FD for newer vehicles. As long as the licence is active, every new software version via the update menu on the device itself.

We link the licence to the serial number from your DS900BT and process that within one working day; you need not register anything yourself. A licence renewal maintains vehicle coverage, the service functions and the coding files is included. When the licence expires, the DS900BT continues to operate on the last installed version and reading, clearing and live data functions remain available on already supported vehicles, but new versions cannot be installed.

✕Downloading requires a stable Wi-Fi connection; on a busy guest network, a large update can take considerable time.

An active licence covers three components of the DS900BT. These are the vehicle coverage, the function files and the online services. Below is what a renewal provides and what occurs if you do not renew.

What a renewal provides

  • New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
  • Expanded service functions: Procedures such as ABS bleeding, oil service, steering angle sensor, injector coding and battery management continue to support newer vehicles as manufacturers update their systems.
  • Coding files: The coding and adaptation procedures follow the modules released by manufacturers.

What happens without renewal

  • New versions: Nothing further is added, including no corrections to software already installed.
  • Online portal: Services running through manufacturer servers may become limited or unavailable after expiry.
  • Existing diagnostics: Reading, clearing, live data and active tests on already supported vehicles continue to work normally.
