The Autel MaxiCom MK908 II update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MK908 II with one year. The device does code modules, but programming is reserved for the Pro II; in exchange, you get service functions and full bidirectional control. The MK908 II is the newer generation of the MK908 platform, with access to all vehicle modules from 1996 onwards, and all these capabilities draw from the same software file which is expanded with every update.

After you place your order, we activate the licence on the serial number of the MK908 II, typically within one working day, after which the update menu displays the new versions. A renewal keeps the vehicle coverage, service functions and the coding files included. When the licence expires, the MK908 II remains on the software version from that point and the existing functions continue to work on the vehicles already supported.
