The Autel MaxiCom MK906S Pro update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MK906S Pro with one year. The device also codes modules online via full datalink communication with control units, provides a comprehensive range of maintenance services and supports DoIP. The MK906S Pro is a wireless diagnostic tablet with the MaxiVCI V200 as interface, and all these functions draw from the same software file which is expanded with every update.
After you place your order, we activate the licence on the serial number of the MK906S Pro, typically within one working day, after which the update menu displays the new versions. A renewal keeps the vehicle coverage, the maintenance services and the coding files plus access to secured vehicle gateways. When the licence expires, the MK906S Pro remains locked at that version and the existing functions continue to work on the vehicles already supported.

✕A renewal provides software only, not hardware, so the battery tester MaxiBAS BT506 must be purchased separately.
✕Vehicle connection plays no role in updates; everything occurs via Wi-Fi and the charger.

The MK906S Pro software comprises far more than a simple vehicle list. Alongside the vehicle coverage includes the procedure files and the online services that the manufacturer assigns to it. Below you'll find what renewal means for each component.
What a renewal provides
- New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
- Expanded service functions: Procedures such as oil service, steering angle sensor, electronic parking brake, injector coding and DPF regeneration remain compatible with newer vehicles as manufacturers update their systems.
- Coding files: The coding and adaptation procedures follow the modules released by manufacturers.
What happens without renewal
- No updates: New coverage and new procedures no longer reach the device.
- Online functions: Anything the software does not have built-in may stop working afterwards.
- Daily operations: Reading and clearing codes, live data and active tests on known vehicles continue without interruption.
