The Autel MaxiCom MK900-TS update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MK900-TS with one year. The MK900-TS is a two-part solution that combines comprehensive diagnostics and full TPMS servicing in a single device. The TPMS module activates virtually all known OEM and universal sensors, programmes MX sensors and executes the learning procedures, and it is precisely that sensor database which changes with each season. As long as your licence remains active, every new software version via the update menu on the device itself.

We link the licence to the serial number from your MK900-TS and process that within one working day; you need not register anything yourself. A renewal updates both the vehicle coverage when the TPMS database and keeps the service functions and online reporting current. When the licence expires, the MK900-TS continues to operate on the most recently installed version and reading, clearing and live data functions remain available on already supported vehicles, but new versions cannot be installed.

IMPORTANT NOTES

✕Per serial number one licence applies, so a second MK900-TS in the same workshop requires its own renewal.
✕New TPMS protocols are available only while the licence is active; after expiry, sensor coverage remains at the level of your last update.
✕A renewal provides software only, not hardware, so the battery tester MaxiBAS BT506 and the videoscope MV105 or MV108 must be purchased separately.
✕Vehicle connection plays no role in updates; everything occurs via WiFi and the charger.

Applications and functionalities

An active licence covers three components of the MK900-TS. These are the vehicle coverage, the function files and the online services. Below is what a renewal provides and what occurs if you do not renew.

What a renewal provides

  • New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
  • Expanded service functions: Procedures such as oil service, electronic parking brake, steering angle sensor, DPF regeneration and transmission adaptation continue to support newer vehicles as manufacturers modify their systems.
  • TPMS database: Sensor types, learning procedures and vehicle-specific relearn steps are expanded.

What happens without renewal

  • No updates: New coverage and new procedures no longer reach the device.
  • Online functions: Anything the software does not have built-in may stop working afterwards.
  • Existing diagnostics: Reading, clearing, live data and active tests on already supported vehicles continue to work normally.

How does it work in practice?

From order to updated device takes four steps. The serial number is the only thing you need to locate yourself.

  1. Provide serial number: When placing your order, provide the serial number of your MK900-TS so we know which device the licence should be linked to.
  2. Activation: We link the licence to that serial number, typically within one working day.
  3. Prepare the device: Connect the MK900-TS to the charger and ensure a stable WiFi connection before starting the download.
  4. Install updates: Open the update menu, select the available versions and start the installation.
