The Autel MaxiCom MK808TS update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MK808TS with one year. The MK808TS is a compact diagnostic tablet with full TPMS servicing and wireless vehicle connectivity. Between updates, the device remains unchanged, whilst the vehicle fleet arriving at your workshop continues to evolve. The device performs TPMS diagnostics with fault code descriptions, activates virtually all known sensors and programmes MX sensors, in addition to six standard service functions.
An update licence renewal centres on the sensor database, the learning procedures and the vehicle coverage of this generation. The renewal itself is digital and requires nothing from you except the serial number of the MK808TS; we link the licence to it, typically within one working day. Without renewal, the device remains functional on the last installed version, but no new content is added.

What a renewal on the MK808TS actually does is easiest to understand by dividing the software into three parts. There is the vehicle coverage, there are the function files and there is the online side. All three advance with an active licence.
What a renewal provides
- New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
- Expanded service functions: Procedures such as oil service, parking brake learning, steering angle sensor calibration, battery registration and DPF regeneration continue to support newer vehicles as manufacturers update their systems.
- TPMS database: Sensor types, learning procedures and vehicle-specific relearn steps are expanded.
What happens without renewal
- No further updates: The update menu remains empty, even when the manufacturer releases new versions.
- Cloud services: Reporting and support running through the manufacturer's servers may cease.
- What remains: Everything the device can do at that moment, it will continue to do; the MK808TS does not diminish in value, simply does not become newer.

How does it work in practice?
In practice, it's four steps and then wait for the download. We only need the serial number from you.
