The license extends the device's update window, ensuring the latest vehicle coverage, feature enhancements, and bug fixes remain available. Without a valid update license, the device continues to operate on its current software version, but newer vehicle models and system expansions won't be added.
Once your order is placed, the license is automatically linked to your device's serial number, typically within 1 business day. No manual coding or activation code entry is required. Once the license is active, you can download and install available software versions through your device's update menu. The license remains valid for 12 months from the activation date and must be renewed afterward to continue receiving updates.

- Startup screen: When launching certain functions, the serial number is briefly displayed on the screen.
