The Jaltest FCA adapter (JDC406A) provides functionality for bypassing the Security Gateway Module (SGM/SGW) in FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) vehicles. Since 2017, FCA has implemented these modules in their vehicles, allowing access to certain diagnostic and maintenance functions such as clearing fault codes and controlling actuators only with permission.
