The Topdon Phoenix Pro Update License is a digital software update license that keeps your diagnostic device's software environment current with the latest versions for 1 year. During this period, you'll gain access to expanded vehicle coverage, advanced diagnostic capabilities and improvements to existing software. This ensures your device stays compatible with recent vehicle models and system architectures introduced after the original factory software. The license is specifically designed for the Topdon Phoenix Pro and is not compatible with other devices in our range.
After purchase, you'll receive an update card with a 12-character activation code. This code is manually entered into your device's companion software, after which updates become available through the standard update function. There's no automatic server connection to the serial number—you manage the activation yourself. Once the 1-year license period expires, the software already installed on your device continues to work normally, but new updates and additional vehicle coverage are blocked until you activate a renewal.

Serial Number Information
When activating or registering the license, you may need the serial number of your Phoenix Pro. On this tablet-based diagnostic scanner, the serial number can be found in multiple locations.
