What happens when your license expires?
Once your license expires, the OTOFIX D1 Pro device continues to work fully using the last installed software for offline diagnostics. However, you'll lose access to:
- New software updates and vehicle coverage
- Online programming and coding features (these require server access)
- Bug fixes for future software issues
You can renew your license at any time to regain access to the latest software versions and online capabilities.
Provide your serial number
To activate your license, you'll need the 14-character serial number from your diagnostic device. Enter this number in the order notes field when checking out. You can find your serial number on:
- Back of the device — on a sticker on the OTOFIX D1 Pro tablet.
- Settings menu — in the 'Settings' or 'About' section of the software.
- Original packaging — on a sticker on the outside of the box.
