The OBDSTAR M007 is an adapter cable that converts a Beta 6-pin OBD connection to a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) connection. The cable is specifically designed for use with Beta motorcycles and allows the diagnostic port of these vehicles to be connected to OBDSTAR diagnostic devices and programmers. The connector on the vehicle side is a 6-pin Beta-specific plug, while the other end features a standard 16-pin OBD2 plug.

The M007 adapter cable translates the pin configuration of the vehicle's own 6-pin diagnostic port to the corresponding contacts on the J1962 connector, so that the correct signal lines — including the K-line and power lines — are properly transmitted to the connected OBDSTAR device. During use, this connection enables communication between the diagnostic system and the engine management ECU of the Beta motorcycle, allowing readout and programming functions to be performed.
