The Jaltest JDC311A is the adapter cable for Solaris buses equipped with the manufacturer-specific 9-pin Sub-D diagnostic connector: this connector is located on the vehicle side, while the 16-pin OBD2 interface connects to your Jaltest diagnostic cable. The 9-pin Sub-D port is found on the driver's station or in the electrical cabinet of the bus; the connector resembles a computer port but features its own pinout configuration.
Through this connection, diagnostic equipment accesses the vehicle network and communicates with the control units that Solaris sources from various suppliers: the DMCI engine control module from the DAF engines used, the transmissions from Voith and ZF, the braking and air suspension systems, door control, and climate management. Which units Jaltest can read depends on the components installed in your specific bus. Solaris used this connector before the standardized 16-pin diagnostic port became standard with Euro IV (October 2005). This cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).

- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit with descriptions of detected faults.
- View live data: Monitor current sensor values connected to the control unit in numerical and graphical format.
- Activate components: Directly trigger components to determine whether the fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring.
- Configure parameters: Write configurations and settings to the control unit.
- Perform calibrations: For systems where Jaltest offers a calibration procedure, such as after component replacement.
