The VT13898 is a 15-piece timing tool set for Opel 2.0L CDTi and EcoFLEX diesel engines. Designed to lock and adjust the crankshaft and camshafts when working on the timing chain.
This set includes tools for securing the crankshaft, camshafts, the high-pressure pump gear and the chain tensioner. Proper use maintains engine timing during maintenance or timing chain replacement — essential for engine performance and longevity.

Application and functionality
- Crankshaft locking: Crankshaft locking set secures the crankshaft in BDP position.
- Camshaft adjustment: Camshaft adjustment tool and locking pin for correct alignment and securing.
- High-pressure pump securing: Locking tool keeps the high-pressure pump gear in place.
- Locking the timing chain tensioner: Retaining pin holds the chain tensioner compressed during chain replacement.
- Removing the crankshaft pulley: Tool provides counter-torque when loosening and tightening the central pulley bolt.
