Without an active license, the device's functionality is preserved at the last installed version, but new updates are blocked.
Activation is automatic and linked to the serial number of the diagnostic device. Once processed, the license is available within 1 business day and updates can be downloaded and installed via the device. No manual coding or activation codes are required. When the 1-year license period expires, a new update license is needed to continue receiving software versions.
