The OBDSTAR P003 Kit is an accessory set for OBDSTAR IMMO-series tablets and supports reading and writing ECU eeprom and flash data and calculating IMMO data. The kit works with popular ECU families such as Bosch ME17XX, MED17XX, EDC17XX and Continental PCR2.1, covering vehicles from VW, Škoda, Audi, Seat, Bentley, Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Lamborghini, Porsche and Mahindra. The set includes the P003+ adapter and the BENCH-A V3 wiring harness for direct connection to the ECU or TCM outside the vehicle.

When in use, the P003+ adapter connects to a compatible OBDSTAR tablet, then the BENCH-A V3 establishes the connection to the ECU. The tablet controls the read and write operations, allowing eeprom, flash, CS, pincode and MAC values to be retrieved or rewritten from supported controllers. In addition to bench operations, the kit supports specific IMMO functions such as Toyota 8A all keys lost in OBD or BENCH mode, Ford/Lincoln/Mustang all keys lost with active alarm without repeated battery disconnection, and programming proximity keys for Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha.

IMPORTANT NOTES

✕ For Honda proximity key programming, the M053-connector is required, which is not included.
✕ For Suzuki and Yamaha proximity keys, the M054-connector is required, which is not included.
✕ To read the PIN code, the additional P001-programmer is needed.
✕ Works only in combination with a tablet from the OBDSTAR IMMO series.

Applications and Features

The P003 Kit supports the following ECU and IMMO operations:

  • Continental PCR2.1 Reading: Reading CS, PIN code and MAC value on TC1796-based controllers for key programming and IMMO procedures.
  • Bosch MED17.4.4 Reading: Reading EEPROM and PIN code on TC1793 controllers, used in PSA vehicles such as Citroën, DS and Peugeot.
  • Bosch EDC17C60 Reading: Reading EEPROM and PIN code on TC1793 controllers for diesel variants within the PSA and Opel/Vauxhall group.
  • Bosch MD1CS018 Reading: Reading EEPROM and PIN code, including applications on Mahindra BS-6 engines.
  • Bosch MED17XX / EDC17XX Reading: Reading EEPROM, flash, CS, PIN code and MAC value on TC1766, TC1767, TC1782 and TC1797 controllers within the VAG group.
  • Bosch ME17XX read and write: Full eeprom and flash access on ME17.5.6, ME17.5.20, ME17.1.1 and ME17.1.6 for tuning and repair.
  • T87A and 6HP TCM read and write: Direct access to transmission eeprom and flash for transmission control unit repair or replacement.
  • Toyota 8A all keys lost: Programming non-smart keys in OBD or BENCH mode when all keys are lost.
  • Ford/Lincoln/Mustang all keys lost: Key programming with active alarm without repeated battery disconnection.
  • Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha proximity key: Programming proximity keys in combination with the corresponding M053 or M054 connector.

Special features and capabilities

The kit additionally supports specific ECU models:

  • ME9.0, MED9.1, MED9.6.1, ME9.6.1, MED9.5.10: Support for older Bosch ME/MED9 generations alongside the standard 17 family.
  • EDC16C39, EDC16CP35, EDC16C8: Access to EDC16 diesel controllers outside the regular 17 series.
