The Jaltest CV/OHW Kit (70001052) is the core hardware diagnostic solution for multi-brand commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses and trailers, as well as off-highway and construction equipment. The kit is built around the Jaltest Link interface (70001015) and includes all essential cables and the Multipin Kit (70002001) for connecting to the vehicle's electronic control units.

All components are neatly organized in a compact hard case measuring 505 × 381 × 146 mm, making the kit easy to transport to your customer's location. This kit provides hardware only: a separately available Jaltest CV or OHW software license is required to perform actual diagnostics.

Application and functionality

This hardware kit establishes the connection between a computer running Jaltest software and the vehicle's electronic control units.

  • Vehicle communication: the Jaltest Link interface provides a stable connection between the PC and the vehicle's electronic systems.
  • ECU diagnostics: read and clear fault codes, retrieve live data and parameters, and perform active component tests via Jaltest software.
  • OBD-II connection: direct diagnostics through the standardized 16-pin OBD-II port using the JDC213.9 cable.
  • Flexible connectivity: the Multipin Kit enables connection to vehicles or systems without a directly compatible diagnostic cable.
  • Extra working space: the 1-meter JDC100 extension cable (SUBD-26 with jack) provides freedom of movement between the interface and vehicle connector.
  • Workshop and on-site use: the hardcase keeps all components together, so the complete kit can be taken wherever needed.
