The Autool CT60 is a signal generator designed for testing and diagnosing fuel injectors. The tester generates pulse signals to check injector operation for issues such as clogging, leakage, or incomplete combustion. The device is compatible with both standard 12V injectors from naturally aspirated engines and high-voltage injectors up to 75V, as used in turbocharged engines.

Via the LCD screen and control buttons, the operating frequency from 600 to 4000 revolutions per minute and the test duration from 0 to 99 minutes can be adjusted with precision. Two injectors can be connected to the tester simultaneously, allowing the spray pattern and spray angle of both to be assessed side by side. The CT60 operates independently for diagnostics or in combination with an ultrasonic cleaner; in that case, the tester controls the injector to open and close during the cleaning process, which removes carbon deposits more effectively.

Good to know: Test injectors both before and after cleaning, using the same engine speed and test duration each time. This way you can see from the spray pattern whether cleaning has actually worked: a healthy injector produces a fine, even mist, while a dirty one drips or sprays at an angle. If in doubt, connect a known good injector to the second port to compare the difference under identical conditions.
