What is an ISN?
The Individual Serial Number (ISN) is a unique vehicle identification number stored in a vehicle's immobilizer data. This code links the key, ECU, and starter interrupt system (EWS/CAS/FEM/BDC) together. When replacing a module or cloning a key, the ISN must be correctly programmed into the emulator to enable communication with the vehicle network. Without the correct ISN, the vehicle will refuse to start.
