The CarLabImmo Ferrari Maserati Key Replacement is an OBD2 device for reading and storing the key code from an existing, working car key. The device backs up the code, allowing a mechanically duplicated key to be used without the original electronics or transponder. The system is specifically designed for select Ferrari and Maserati models.

The device operates on a plug-and-play basis through the vehicle's OBD2 port, requiring no coding or modifications to the vehicle's software. One working key is needed to copy the code. Once the code is stored in the device, a mechanically duplicated key can start the vehicle, provided the Key Replacement module remains connected to the OBD2 port.
