Autel FCA Secure Gateway Module 12+8 Pins - 16 Pins OBD2 Adapter Cable
The Autel FCA adapter cable is specially designed to bypass the Security Gateway Module (SGM/SGW), allowing you to perform full diagnostic and service functions on FCA group vehicles. Since 2017, FCA vehicles (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) have been equipped with these modules that split the vehicle network into a public and private section. As a result, clearing fault codes, operating actuators, and performing other special functions is not possible without access to the private section. This means that only FCA's own diagnostic equipment has access to this functionality. The Autel FCA adapter cable provides a solution for owners of FCA group vehicles who do not want to rely on a dealer for their vehicle maintenance.
Security gateway module:
The Security Gateway Module (SGM/SGW) is a factory security feature in FCA group vehicles that restricts diagnostic access to, for example, reading controller information, current parameters, or error codes. With the Autel FCA adapter cable, you can bypass this security measure and gain full access to all diagnostic and service functions of your vehicle, allowing you to perform maintenance and repairs independently without relying on the dealer.
