Launch FCA Securitygateway License
The FCA license is a valuable addition to your own Launch diagnostic tool. This license allows you to access the Secure Gateway Module (SGW) for FCA vehicles produced from 2017 onwards, including brands such as Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, and Jeep.
Since 2017, FCA has gradually introduced the SGW in their vehicles, a trend that increases every year. By 2020, almost every FCA vehicle was equipped with this module. The SGW acts as a kind of firewall that prevents unauthorized access and manipulation of essential vehicle systems. Without the FCA license, it is impossible to perform calibrations, control actuators, or clear fault codes.
Before placing an order, we kindly ask you to carefully read the following information:
- Make sure you have an active software update subscription to use the FCA license. If necessary, you can purchase an extension of your subscription.
- When ordering, you must enter the serial number of your Launch system in the designated field in the shopping cart. You can usually find the serial number in the system menu under “Settings” > “System Information” or on the physical device.
- Please note that the administrative processing by Launch can take up to 14 working days. Until Launch has completed the processing, it is not possible to access the SGW.
