Universal Openport 2.0 OBD2 - USB Interface Cable
The Openport 2.0 interface cable is the ideal solution for tuning your vehicle. This universal hardware enables communication with most OBD2-compatible vehicles via a standard J2534 interface. It supports reflashing various newer Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles in combination with the appropriate software.
With the Openport 2.0 you have everything you need, including a USB cable. Only in a few cases do you need a separate reflash adapter. For Subaru vehicles, a reflash adapter is only required for the WRX from 2001 to 2005, except for the STi, unless it is an early non-USDM STi. In that case, a WRX adapter may be necessary. For other Subaru models, such as the Forester, Baja, Legacy, or Impreza, no reflash adapter is needed. For Mitsubishi vehicles, the adapter is required for most pre-CAN vehicles, including the Evo 5-9.
